HB 3693 Energy Consumption Information

Union Grove ISD is committed to reducing energy consumption within our district. HB 3639 has mandated school districts in Texas reduce energy consumption at a rate of 5% per year for the next six years. Union Grove ISD is making a good faith effort to reach these goals.

An electric/energy consumption audit was completed in April 2004, by TRI-STEM Electric and Telephone Billing Audits, in an attempt to discern any discrepancies in electric billing and consumption.

Currently Union Grove ISD is working with T.A.C. a company of Schneider Electric to complete an energy consumption audit and locate possible energy consumption savings efforts to be implemented throughout the district.
